Why are (we) conservatives ashamed of being conservatives. Yes, I realize that John Roberts just needed to get the SCOTUS gig and then he was a made guy, but the Federalist Society is hardly something to be ashamed of. Further, we need to strenuously refute the narrative of the left/MSM to make reputable conservative groups and policies appear to be fringe.
How sad (and how much it explains) that this was felt necessary - and how ironic that Fed Soc association only became a badge of honor in the Trump administration (thank you, again, Don McGahn).
