I think he was the Senate Impeachment counsel to Trent Lott on he Clinton impeachment. Landed well it seems.

I have known Michael Wallace for many years. He would have been an excellent judge and did not deserve the ideologically based unfair treatment he received from the ABA.

Missing from this screed: All 15 members of the ABA Screening Committee found him unqualified for reasons of bias. So, you have to believe that all 15 members were rabid leftists. As a 41-year member of the ABA, that is not my experience. At all.

I suspect the ABA took its hard, left turn sometime in the late 60s, early 70s.

My impression is that it happened more in the 1980s, as liberals in the ABA reacted against Reagan.

Since I was alive at that time, I think it wasn’t only liberals reacting. It doesn’t take a political party to see what types of policies devastate families, cause violence outside & inside chambers, & caused people to starve (my parents had to grow our food), oh! & let’s not forget the blizzard of 78’ where my newborn brother could have easily died along with me & the rest of my family.
